It is my passion to help others to relieve symptoms and to live happier, calmer and more fulfilling lives. I help my clients move through difficult transitions, overcome parenting challenges, improve their relationships, change negative lifestyle habits, reduce stress, improve confidence and self esteem, and uncover their passions and true selves. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and trauma as well as helping people to heal from low self worth issues and limiting negative beliefs that seem to linger and trigger us often as adults.
I am trained in, and work from a broad range of utilizing humanistic and psychodynamic approaches, and Internal Family Systems model (IFS) which clients find easy to comprehend and effective. I frequently use CBT techniques. These approaches are especially helpful for healing traumatic memories, emotional blocks, and old negative beliefs about oneself, all of which prevent self improvement.
Telehealth and in-office sessions available by appointment
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who delights in offering outpatient mental health counseling. I have had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan, from children to the elderly, and I am truly passionate about helping people navigate the challenges they face.
One of the core values I bring to my practice is empathy. I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can freely express their thoughts, emotions, and concerns. By fostering a compassionate and understanding environment, I aim to build strong therapeutic relationships that empower my clients to explore their feelings and work towards positive change.
I utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's unique needs. My goal is to provide personalized care that supports meaningful and lasting growth. I select targeted techniques that do not depend on a "one size fits all" approach
My liberation is wrapped up in yours. Whether your internal suffering is mundane or extreme, I promise to help you learn from your experiences, hold a space of healing, and nurture growth according to your goals and dreams.
